Carol, Hi. Here is the obit for George's son, Jess Ivory Perkins:
Jess Ivory Perkins, 80, Pine Knot, died Friday, May 17, [1968] in the Williamsburg Clinic [Whitley County]. He was born December 4, 1887 in Whitley County and was a son of the late George Perkins and Susie Trammell Perkins. He lived most of his life in McCreary County and was, until his retirement, employed at the Stearns Coal and Lumber Company sawmill and lumber yard. He was a member of the East Pine Knot Church of God. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Pearl Coffey Perkins, Pine Knot and one son, George Perkins, also of Pine Knot. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the East Pine Knot Church of God with burial in the church cemetery.
