Message Board Post:

I recently discovered that my death info on my ggmother, Martha West Justice, were incorrect. Now I am searching anew.

She died about 1931 (my mother recalls she was about 4, and that her mother made her kiss the corpse!).

The family was living in Barthell in 1930:

US 1930, KY, McCreary; (Magisterial District #1) ED 74-3, p. 25A-25B, # 251 / 261: Olliver JESTICE, head, m, w, 44, married at 20, TN, TN, TN, coal miner; Martha JESTICE, wife of H, f, w, 39, married at 15, TN, TN, TN, none; Opal JESTICE, daughter, f, w, 18, single, TN, TN, TN, none; Robert JESTICE, son, m, w, 12, single, TN, TN, TN, none; Louise JESTICE, daughter, f, w, 10, single, TN, TN, TN, none; and Lester JESTICE, son, m, w, 6, single, TN, TN, TN, none.

I cannot locate her in the Kentucky death records.

I could not locate her in the McCreary Cemeteries (old single volumen version),

I could not locate her in the Scott Cemeteries (she lived in Scott 1900, 1910, 1920).

I have posted an inquiry in Morgan (her husband died 30 years later is buried in the Union Cemetery in Wartburg).

She (according to my mother) died of TB. Would there be any possibility of a TB Hospital in those days?

Any help finding her would be appreciated.
