I knew Mr. Ambrose Spradlin personally. He was a second cousin to my
grandmother, Alice Spradlin Phillips. He also was related to me through the
King ancestry, "Die-Pin" Burl King, who was his grandfather on his mother's
side. My father, Elmon P. King, 80yr.old, still has the ability to remember
all the King & Spradlin geneology. "Uncle Amburs" lived on the hill above
my grandma Phillips in Revelo Ky. Polly or her children still live there
today.
