MUNCIE - Delma M. Gregory, 69, went home to be with the Lord on November 27,
2005.
Delma was born to the late Bradley and Dillie (Slaven) Kidd on March 18,
1936, in Bellfarm, Kentucky. Delma was married to Clifford Gregory on March 19,
1960.
Delma was an active member of Westside United Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great friend.
Surviving are her loving husband, Clifford Gregory; four children whom meant
the world to her, Wilma Vorhees, (husband, Mike), of Bosier City, LA, Eugene
Gregory, (wife, Robin), of Springport, IN, Wanda Beckley, (husband, Steve), of
Muncie, and Clifford Dale Gregory, (wife, Tammy), of Muncie; thirteen
grandchildren, Andrew and Austin Vorhees, Kyla and Bradley Gregory, Matthew, Aaron,
and Seth Beckley, Christopher, Brandon, Ryan, Justin, Brandi and Brittney
Gregory; her brother, Herbert Kidd; her adopted brother, Wheaton Slaven; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Auton Kidd, Howard
Kidd and Jessie Kidd; four sisters, Ruby Slaven, Lula Maxwell, Millie Burke,
and Alice Gibson.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, at Westside United
Baptist Church, 3021 W. Cornbread Road, with Pastor Larry Waters officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
Friends may call at the church form 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
