I am working on a project to find the decendants of Lee (Pelmon/Perleman/etc.) ROSS and Nancy KING.
Specifically, one of his gg-daughters Gertrude (Gertie) DAUGHERTY is married to a Burl KING in 1930. They have a daughter Cordellia born abt 1918, so they were probably married before that. The Kentucky Birth Index shows the four children born to this couple in the 1920s.
Gertrude was born abt 1895, the daughter of Burl K, DAUGHERTY and Nancy Emeline ROSS.
Burl was born abt 1875, the son of Brackston KING and either Abigail BLEVINS or Nancy BLEVENS. His brother Armp KING also shows up in his household.
The 1930 census implies that this was Burrel's 2nd marriage.
Various data bases show submissions that this would have been "Red" Burl, but they also show his wife Rosa KING did not pass until 1936.
There are at least 3 Burrel's born about this time. Does anyone know who is who?
