Hi Jo.
As far as I can tell, Corder was the spelling for the ones in my file, I do not show any other spelling.
Census, marriage, tax, and some will records all show the spelling as CORDER.
I do not have any lines spelled as you have shown, therefore I don't think there is a connection.
Others may dispute this, but that is how my records show.
