Farmland is about 15 miles east of downtown Muncie on IN 32.

I met some of the Corder boys in Monticello at a Nichols family reunion in
about 1976. They are also related to my BELL line.

Carrie Corder husband's obit - I can't find where I got it at though.

Is Farmland near Muncie?

Daveson (Dave) King, age 82, of Muncie, IN passed away Sunday, October 12,
2003 at his home. He was born in Dayridge, KY on May 6, 1921, the son of
the late Joseph Christopher Columbus and Permelia Catherine Wright King. He

married Carrie Corder King, who survives. He is also survived by eight
children - Donald King and Lee King, of Muncie, IN, Eugene King of
Monticello, KY, Michael King of Columbia, TN, Roger King of Parker City, IN,

Gary King of Maxville, IN, Alma Jo Gross of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Barbara Jones

of Glasgow, KY; one sister - Alice New of Sidney, OH; 20 grandchildren; and
28 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were six brothers - Jesse
King, Frank King, Logan King, Edgar King, Everett King, Walter King, and
Joel King; and two sisters - Arle Mae King and Mattie King Lay. He was a
member of the West Side Baptist Church of Muncie, IN. He was a retired coal

miner at Jewel Ridge Coal Co. and Stearns Coal & Lumber. He also worked as
a steel worker for Brodericks Steel in Muncie, IN. He belonged to the
United Mine Workers Union and United Steel Workers of America Local 2045.
Private funeral services were held Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. in
the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Hoyt Davis officiating. Burial was
in Poplar Run Cemetery in Randolph County. Miller Mortuary of Farmland, Ind.

in charge of arrangements.

Thanks Eileen for the info.

Does anyone know which Wayne Co. cemetery book would have cemeteries close
to McCreary & how much would it be? Would there be one that has all or
almost all of the Wayne Co cemeteries?
