My great great grandmother was a Davenport. Her name was Anna Davenport and there is a great possibility that she was born in Richmond, IN, in Wayne County.

She possibly would have been the granddaughter of Sarah or Jesse Davenport of Lick Creek, North Carolina, who were siblings. They were born in 1775-1779 in North Carolina.
