MUNCIE - Willie H. Flynn, 87, passed away Saturday morning at his residence
following an extended illness.
Willie was born in Stearns, Kentucky on May 13, 1918 the son of John and
Molly Flynn.
He was employed as a coal miner in Kentucky, and retired from Broadrick's in
1972.
He and his loving wife, Sarah, owned and operated Flynn's Recreation Center
from 1966 until 1976.
Mr. Flynn leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Emma Wright (husband,
Ronnie), Muncie; two grandsons, David Crabtree and Benji Wright, both of Muncie;
and five brothers and sisters, Fannie, Jimmy, Russell, Fred, and J.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sarah Flynn; a daughter,
Jean Crabtree; two sons, Alex and Earl Flynn; and two sisters.
Friends may greet the family from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Garden
View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie.
Private graveside services will take place in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
