I have a Samuel Clinton Campbell (2 June 1901-30 March 1963, buried at Ross Taylor, Sawyer, McCreary Co, KY) who is married to Etta Virginia Rose (27 June 1906-13 January 1970, also buried at Ross Taylor). He is the son of Wm. Andrew and Rhoda Ridener Campbell and she is the daughter of Wm. Oliver and Talitha Vanover Rose. I am not aware that Etty ever married a Caldwell.

However, neither are directly related to me. They are in my files because the Rose family crosses mine several times. The Caldwells also cross my line. So, I could be wrong. I offer this information for what it is worth and would appreciate any corrective facts you may have.
