I am Mertie's 2nd cousin once removed but I have no record of her having married a King. She married Elisha Spradlin on 28 June 1924 in Scott County, Tennessee. She was born 15 March 1905 in Strunk, Whitley Co (now McCreary), Kentucky. I only know that she died before 20 April 1982 based on the obit for her brother Claiborne.

I have an Andrew King (no relation to me and no nickname known) born after 1912 in Winfield, SCT, who died before 10 dec 2000. His parents are Arthur and Flora J. King. Flora is buried at the Kingtown Cem. in McCreary Co. No other info.
