Hi, Wanda, I'm just reading your query. Please verify this information because Ab and Artie are not related to me but I have acquired this info along the way of research my family.

Absalom M. Crabtree (1 Feb 1890 Scott Co, TN - 8 jan 1960 Winfield, SCT) parentage unknown. Married Artie abt 1914, presumably in Scott Co, but not a given. He was a Pvt, Co F, 46 Inf WWI.

Artie M. Freeman (5 Dec 1896 SCT - 5 Jun 1970 Winfield). Both of them are buried in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield. I do not know here parentage either.

I have eight of their children:

Edward A. Crabtree (1 Jul 1917 Winfield -30 Jul 1943) Supposedly he has a stone in Lower Hickory Grove Cem in Revelo.

Wm. Harold Crabtree (28 Oct 1923 Winfield - 12 Nov 1963 Winfield) bur Piney Grove near Winfield. marr Frankie L. R.

Absolam Everett Crabtree (20 Jul 1931 Winfield - 11 Apr 1995 Methodist Med Center, Oak Ridge) bur at Chitwood Cem, Winfield. marr Mary Sue.

Silas Crabtree, aft 1914

John Alvin Crabtree, aft 1914 marr. Island (?) Sexton

Alene Crabtree, aft 1914 marr. a Queener

Ruby Crabtree, aft 1914

Elizabeth Crabtree, aft 1914 marr. Harley Wm. Ramsey (1930-2005) so her dob was probably around 1930
