A twelve mile section of land in Scott Co. Tenn used to be Kentucky. This land shifted back and forth more than once and folks around the line didn't really make a distinction. Therefore anyone in Scott Co looking for relatives in the north end of the county needs to check McCreary, Wayne, Whitley and Pulaski (depending on dates) in KY. And probably vice versa. Not only that but my family sometimes lived in Strunk or Silerville or Yamacraw in KY and sometimes in Bear Creek, Roberta, No Business, Gum Fork or Winfield in TN.

I find pertinent info in all those counties as well as Morgan, Fentress, Campbell and Anderson in TN.
