Paula and others, Do any of you know more about Elizabeth's 2nd husband, Zion Strunk? I was wondering if it might be William Zion Strunk? He was married 3 times that I know of and one wife was listed as Elizabeth Hough (Huff????). I'm thinking this is the same person. William Zion Strunk was born 12-4-1830 in Whitley County, Kentucky - now McCreary County. He was also married to Mahala Cowan and Eliza Heath. William Zion Strunk and Elizabeth Hough were married 2-7-1892 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. I imagine that the clerk mispelled her last name. So many people were unable to read and only made their mark back then and wouldn't know it had been mispelled.

Pulaski County, Kentucky General Index, Marriage Bonds 1799 to, Book 22, year 1892., Elizabeth Hough listed as bride.
