I'm trying to figure out where the Stephens Family Cemetery is. I see that his daughter Shirley was married to a Stephens. Did she marry Estel D. Stephens??? His family is buried in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. Does anyone know if they mean the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery, Revelo, McCreary Co., KY???





Onel Prewitt, age 87 years, 10 months, and 11 days, of Whitley City, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Baptist Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Ernest Dalton and Bro. Leamon Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Stephens Family Cemetery. He was born December 8, 1917 in Keavey, KY to Bill Prewitt and Margaret Brock Prewitt. Onel was a member of the Pine Knot Church of God and had worked in the saw mill before his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and hunting. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Mary Taylor Prewitt, whom he married in August 1940, and two sisters, Lenita Talley and Debra Pugh. Survivors include five sons, Larry Prewitt, of Katy, TX, Ernie Prewitt, of Whitley City, KY, Tony Prewitt, of Pine Knot, KY, Wayne Prewitt, of Napoleon, OH, and Allen Prewitt, of Whitley City, three daughters, Shirley Stephens, of Pi!
