My Wilburn (not Wilbur) VANOVER was married to America RATLIFF. I`ve never read/heard, etc., anything indicating he traveled or moved out of state. Wilburn died 23 Feb 1936 in Pike Co., KY and is buried on Cabin Fork in Dorton, Pike Co., KY at Vanover & Hall Cemetery. I`ve been to the cemetery and visited Wilburn and America`s graves. I also took photos. Wilburn`s parents were Daniel & Mazy VANOVER. America`s parents were William Epperson RATLIFF ("Eppie") and Hannah Minerva SANDERS.
Do these sound like they could be the Wilbur & America that you`re speaking of? Did you have the same info for the parents if your Wilbur?
