Ruth S. Craynon Chambers, age 86, of Kettering (OH) , passed August 22, 2006 at Heartland of Centerville. Ruth was born on August 14, 1920 in Barren Fork, Kentucky to Raymond and Ollie Jane (Hansford) Craynon. She was preceded in death by her husband William P. Chambers; her parents; two brothers Herman and Raymond Craynon; and her two sisters Charlotte Hamblin and Wilmina Ball. She is survived by her three children Janice C. Austin and her special friend Jerry Anderson, William D. Chambers and his wife Lillian, and Harold E. Chambers and his wife Chris; Fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and her sister Alma Brooks. Ruth retired after 22 years with Nabisco. Friends may call from 4-7:00 p.m. August 26, 2006 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME -- FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Kettering OH. Funeral service August 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Rev. Don Payne officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family would like to extend a specia!
