Otis ANDERSON, age 83 of South Lebanon passed peacefully Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 with his loving family by his side. Born September 2, 1923 in McCreary County, Kentucky, he was the son of James W. and Nancy (Neal) Anderson. He was a loving and devoted husband of 56 years to Mildred A. (Wilson) Anderson and a devoted, loving and supportive father, grandfather and great grandfather. Otis was a devoted member and Lay Leader of the South Lebanon United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Otis was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and worked and received training from the CCC. Otis had been a resident of South Lebanon for over 50 years and he served on the City Council, Planning & Zoning Committee and the Civic Association. Otis had been a South Master of Boy Scout Troup 37 for 20 years in which he mentored and guided several boys from the community to become positive members of society. During his spare time, he was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener as he loved the ou!

Preceded in death by his parents, dear wife Mildred Anderson in 2002; two sons - Dallas Anderson in 2004 & Steven Anderson in 2005; daughter-in-law, Kay Anderson in 2004;four brothers - James, Houston, Boyd and Arliss Anderson and one sister, Bernice Anderson; he is survived by his daughters - Pam (Dan) Gadberry of Lebanon and Linda Davenport of Ohio; son, James (Kim) Anderson of Maineville;three brothers - Hurstle (Lee Rose) Anderson of Dayton, Oh, Jeff (Helen) Anderson of Fairborn, Oh., Gary (Judy) Anderson of Pine Knot, Ky.; three sisters - Geneva (Sam) Vanover of Lancaster, Ky., Rochelle (Kenneth) Meadors of Williamsburg, Ky. and Betty (Oscar Lee) Kidd of Pine Knot, Ky.; two grandchildren - Rachel and Christa Fyffe and two great grandchildren - Cody and Peyton Anderson and many close friends and neighbors. Friends may call on the family Friday, October 20, 2006 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A one hour visitation will be held Saturda!

uneral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastors Jim Prewitt, Kim Pike, Jon Barker and Shawn Morris officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Oh.
