I was born and raised in a town founded by Justus Stearns in 1902. The town was Stearns, Kentucky. I was born in 1935 and graduated from Stearns High School in 1954 and therefore was too young to remember Justus himself but caddied for his grandson Bob Stearns who ran the Company business's...Coal and Lumber. The town is now considered a historical site and most of the stores and office buildings that prospered during the time I was growing up are now just show places from yester-year. I have many fond memories of the little town where I grew up.
