Renee, Hi. Well we now know that his full name is General Sherman Whitehead. He is listed in the 1910 and 1920 Census in McCreary County, Kentucky. This puts his birth at 1902 in both of them. I have the 1930 McCreary County Census Book. I'll check it and let you know what I find. I don't have my death index CD handy to look up his death date. I'll get back to you when I unearth it. We remodeled our familyroom and I had to box up all my computer stuff and I haven't had time to put everything back yet.
