Sent this once and it came back, will try again. I talked to a Hunley in McCreary Co. about 15 -20 years ago, maybe Roy? Not sure now. He told me what I had already figured out, William Hunley died in the civil war 2/6/1862. He is supposed to be buried at Mill springs. I have copies of military records. The children after 1862, including manassa I believe who is buried at Beulah Heights or down that direction, were born too late. I was told that Lydia didn't remarry and "took in borders" after William died. Supposedly the story was the children were from a neighbor man near by. I'll try to see if I can find the old notes I took on this.
