Hi Ed!! I am compiling on The Tunnell family nationwide who descend from "Lady"Ann(Howard)& Wm.Tunnel(b.1702-03 in France)If you connect to this family I will give you all the data.
An Elizabeth Tunnell -b.1752 in Fairfax Co.Va.(who I am trying to find"proof" that she is the last child of Ann & Wm.Tunnel)m.George Ball Sr.(b.1752)They m.there & brought their kids down to nr.Honnaker,Russell Co.Va.in the 1790's.Russell Co.Va.was the stopping place before people were ab;e to go to Ky. So when her kids were grown 5 sons & 1 dau.went to Ky .in @ 1820.They had married & had their first kids in Va.
A son(her 5 th son/6th.child)wentto Floyd Co.Ky.his names was Wm.Ball(b.1791)and he m.Charlotte May & settled there. BUT the counties began being divided up & his homestead was in Whitley Co.then McCreary Co.Ky.
As his descendents grew his daughter m.into the Stephens line so I want to know your Cecelia's parents & grandparents names to see if she is a BALL !!
Even if she isn't I will give you a site done by Steven Stehen's who is a Tunnell Ball/Stephens descendent as has Stephens ancestors WAAAY back !!!
