NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS INDIVIDUAL. JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON JOHN ANDERSON FROM THE XENIA (OH) DAILY GAZETTE 7/20/07.
John "Jeff" Anderson, 74 of Fairborn, OH passed away July 18, 2007. He was born November 19, 1932 in Rock Creek, KY, the son of the late James and Nancy (Neal) Anderson. John served his country in the United States Army during Korea and was awarded the Purple Heart. He followed with employment with the U.S. Government in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring after 33 years of service. John was a life member of American Legion Dignam-Whitmore Post 526, Fairborn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice; and five brothers, Huston, Otis, Boyd, Ed, and Arlis. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen; two sons, Michael R. Anderson and wife Mary of Englewood, OH, Kirby L. Anderson and wife Lisa of Huber Heights, OH; a granddaughter, Charma A. Ferrigno and husband Jasson of Fairborn; three grandsons, Marcus Anderson of Englewood, Jessie Chapman and wife Brittany of Seattle, WA, Alex Chapman and wife Stevie of Charleston, SC; two great!
-granddaughters, Serena Anderson, Destiny Ferrigno; two brothers, Hurstle and Gary Anderson; three sisters, Geneva Vanover, Betty Kidd, Rochelle Meadors; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on July 22, 2007 from 2 until 4 p.m., with Post Everlasting services at 3:45 p.m., in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on July 23, 2007 at 11 a.m., Dennis Bryant officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Byron Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
