Allie Fair Roberts was my grandfather, Grant Roberts, sister. I remember meeting her and Mr. Troxell when I was a child. They were witnesses at my maternal grandmother and grandfather's wedding( W.H. Winchester and Rosey J. Foster). When Grandpa died in the middle 50's Grandma couldn't find their marriage certificate and we had to get Uncle George and Aunt Allie to go to Huntsville, TN to swear an affidavit that they were married so she could get her Social Security. I made the trip with them. I have the Roberts and Troxell ancestry pretty far back if you are interested.
