There you will find under the Researcher / Email column our members mames and hyperlinks to their eamil address.

We've looked at your heritage for some time and wondered which family heritage line your Dempsey descended from and we have several options.


1) Because you have ties to Fentress Co ther is a good chance that you're tied to kit 19420, Haplo Group1 Family 2.1
2) We also have Family 9.1 Kits 34213 and 87408 that have ties to Washingto Co VA area and that also makes them a possible connection
3)The third possible connection is kit 23557 Haplo Group 1 Family 1 has ties to the Joel Ramsey line in Russell Co VA
4)Haplo Group 1 Family 5 Kit 38127 is from Claiborne Co TN of the Josiah Ramsey line and they also have ties to SW VA and Cumberland PLataue
5) Robert Ramsey family from VA, Washington Co that is tied to MO. This family is contemplating DNA testing now!

Joy, if your husband and family would like to find out more about your heritage and narrow your search to one one family I suggest taking the DNA test. As you can see each of these families have a distinctive DNA pattern and it would be easy to determine at 12 markers you are closley alligned. If you chose to take the test you can always upgrade without haveing to resubmit DNA. To submit DNA is very simple. You order the kit and it will arrive in a steril envelope and whithin the envelope is a steril swab and a steril return envelope. Your husband swabes the inside of his mouth,follow instructions provide, and places it in the steril envelope and mailes it back to FamilyTree and they will log it in and then process it to one a higly accreted DNA lab for testing.
You will recieve the results and a certificate with your husbands name on it sutible for mounting and notification of which families you are connected to.
