NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS INDIVIDUAL. JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ELLIS STRUNK FROM THE HAMILTON (OH) JOURNAL-NEWS 10/23/07
Rev. Ellis V. Strunk of Hamilton, OH went home to be with his Lord on October 21, 2007 at the age of 85. He was born January 1, 1922 in Whitley City, KY the son of the late Joel and Martha (Marlor) Strunk. He was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church in New Miami and for many years served the inner city of Cincinnati preaching the Gospel and praising his Savior. He was preceded in death a few days prior on October 17, 2007 by a special friend and love, his second wife Ella Mae (Siler) Strunk, and by his wife and mother of their 7 children, Dessie Lee (Ball) Strunk, son Lenville Strunk, three brothers, two sisters, son-in-law and fishing buddy, Roy Partin and grandson-in-law Jerry Weiland. He is survived by his children Randall (Emma) Strunk, Joyce (Jack) Wade, Charlie (Donna) Strunk, Tony (Leah) Strunk, Ellis Jr. (Myrtle) Strunk, Mary (Joe) Slaughter and 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Alma Sexton and Charity Naylor. His enjoyment was visiting family !
and friends, testifying for the Lord, Gospel and Blue Grass music and fishing. Visitation will be 12noon to 1:30pm October 24, 2007 at the Ivey Funeral Home at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton. Funeral service will be at 1:30pm October 24, 2007 at the Funeral Home officiated by Mike Worrell. Burial to follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.
