Was Serepty Effie Sellers married or was that her maiden name. I have not been able to find anything on her family. Would appreciate any information you might have.

We are not related. I live in McCreary Co. and a friend of mine is related.
I don't know who shot Miles and his son but I will try to find out. Roy
died of natural causes a few years ago. I do know that Manassa's wife Nancy
King shot and killed his lady friend Serepty (Effie) Sellers in 1901. Nancy
died in 1902 I believe, and she is buried at Barren Fork.
