At least this one got some jail time. Other than this, my best was John
"Squirrel Man" Walker who was fined five shillings for "one profane oath
sworn in court". Seems he had petitioned the court to reroute the road to
Hazard so that it ran closer to his whiskey still for the...."convenience of
the travellers"...you understand. Apparently, he didn't like their response.
