I have been gone and am just now getting to my mail, but your post
definately has possibilities. My gggrandfather, Joseph E. LEWIS, b.
1823 in GA m. May 7, 1844 in Stewart Co., GA Sarah RUSHING, d/o Rev.
John RUSHING of Randolph Co., GA. Her sister, Mary Elizabeth
RUSHING("Lizzy") married Green B. LEWIS. Another sister, Martha,
married Alexander HOOKS. They all moved from GA to Leake Co., MS after
the WBTS, then subsequent generations moved to TX; Collin Co., and
reports of Edgewood, VanZandt Co., TX ca. 1894. A good friend and
"Cooper Cousin", Jan Cooper GREER lives in Nacogdoches, too. Let's
talk!!
