The name GREEN has been tossed around in my line of Lewises in Ga and
Alabama. I am keeping
my eye on the name to find a connection, but not spending time on it. (not
counting the marriage of
George Lewis (2nd) to Sarah Elizabeth Green b. 1819, dau of Frances Moss &
Thomas Greene of Monterey, Butler Co.) She went on to marry Dr, George
Essleman of Scotland, and then, married Frederick William Crenshaw. My Line
in Ga before coming to Butler Co, is John 1720, Jacob 1750, Hurley...
B'nard.
