Billie - Bryan may be in error - I do not know the history of Maine as I am a
Virginian; a Fielding Lewis decendant and have not had the opportunity to
study my northern history in depth. However, your words to Bryan are less
than kind and the height of rudeness. Please STOP. We are all in this
together "trying" to find our roots as best we can. Questions - no matter
how dumb they may seem should be permissible. Some of us have had better
history teachers/opportunities for self study than others. How fortunate.
If you must attack Bryan please do so privately --- and Billie MANY THANKS
for the early history of Maine. It is most interesting. I did not know
this history myself and am most grateful to you for providing/sharing it with
us. Let's all keep digging and sharing. PEACE!
