Listservs are for public discussions of some specific topic, and open free
discussion is definitely
allowed and encouraged. But common internet etiquette dictates that individual
disagreements be
moved to the private forum of personal email and not posted to the entire list.
I agree, there are
times when information pertains to all. I appreciate all information shared via
this list!! We all know
that we're either dead right or dead wrong or somewhere in between. That's the
nature of what
we're researching sometimes. Please don't let disagreements dictate what and
how you share info
in the future. The benefits definitely out weigh the negatives. Everyone is
allowed to an opinion,
and sometimes we're all in agreement, sometimes not. :-) We all survive
somehow and move on.

Now.. back to genealogy and finding our Lewis families. Anyone working on
Culpeper County VA Lewis' that I haven't already chatted with? :-)
