Look, if it makes you happy, I just unsubscribed to the Lewis line
because I don't want to have to put up with people who write snide
letters in return for documented information. If I take the time to
write to help someone with their colonial history by answering a
question, I don't expect someone else to jump in with snide remarks
and say "It never happened. If it did you should write a book and get
fame." That was the last of a number of uncalled for nasty remarks
from some moron who wanted to get my dander up and did.

I have written nine books and don't need the fame. I wrote all of my
books, some in 6 and 7 editions,on a word processor and am new to
Internet, but if the Internet is bringing in newcomers who want to
belittle what one writes then I'll quit using it - - especially being
associated with such ill-bred Lewises. I have Lewis families on my
husband's side in the South and on my paternal side in New England ,
but no one in either family would belittle himself enough to make fun
of a helpful report that someone is sending to rootsweb.

The snide letters came immediately after my report to the lady who
asked "Who owned Maine." I could have told her to look it up, but I
didn't. I helped and then Mr. Rude piped up with his belittling my
information.

If you think that is the way normal people act, then I'm sorry. I
refuse to be associated with someone like the so-called "Bryan." I
unsubscribed, so you guys can have fun making fun of one another in
your family research. My family research is too important. Billlie
