sorry you are unsubscribing, i too did not know about the history of maine,
other than the pilgrims were the first settlers form the old world, i am not
dis[uting what you have found, but it is what was taught to me in school 30
years ago, there is a lot of history that is not shared with everyone growing
up, depending on what part of the country you are from. How many people
still believe that the civil war was mainly over slavery, quite a few.
I sincerely hope that yall can work this out, i am sure tht both of you have
much information that will prove valuable to the rest of us searching these
lines.
