Formerly the United States did not allow dual citizenship status. Now it
does. A recent example of a dual citizen would have been Valdas Adamkus
who had dual citizenship prior to his inauguration as president of
Lithuania. He had to renounce his US citizenship before he took office.
A US citizen can not hold office in a foreign government.

As for Travel, being a citizen of Lithuania, one would not need a visa to
enter the country. It wouldn't matter if you are a US citizen as US
citizens do not need visas to travel to Lithuania.

If you or one of your ancestors had land confiscated after the occupation
of Lithuania by the Soviets, one of the prerequisites to reclaim it is
being a Lithuanian citizen.
