Dear John, In looking up the web-site for the Polish archives that david
Zincavage had listed at http://ciuw.warman.net.pl/alf/archiwa there was a
plea for money and aid because of floods destroying the archives in Poland.
I haven't heard anyone mention this fact online and was wondering since you
were planning a trip there if you had knowledge of such problems, whether
anyone knew the status of the archives and if this is true, is anyone getting
any replys from the archives in Poland.
I was going to write to Poland to the archives, but if they are in chaos,
they may not answer for months? Anyone know what's going on? Thanks, Terry in
Calif.
