Wayne I am sorry you feel so direct about this, but I really did this for a
purpose, the purpose being to bring others who are researching Richard T Lyon
out in the open and yes, I am trying very hard to clear up this genealogy. By
the way you could answer a question for me. Richard Lyons was on the 1830
census for Gibson Co. and I find a Richard Lion on the 1840 census for Gibson
Co. Are they one and the same?? Wm. Carroll Lyon in Gibson Co. on 1850
census and in Yell County Ark on the 1860 census. I know this proves nothing
but it keeps him in the area of other members of the Lyon Family. I have
corresponded with others who feel the same and yet I absolutely know there is
no proof. but how do you get it if no one will put forth the effort to try.
I would much rather you try to find answers instead of berating me for doing
this. It would make it a lot easier if LYON HUNTERS would answer these
posts, whether it be to agree or disagree.
Hope we can find our way out of this maze of inconclusive data findings.
