I'm still trying to find the parents of my William Innes b: about 1778
because of the lack of names for their birth mother's.

Having said that, the purpose of my message was that only last week got the
DE for Penuel Innes ( date of death 8 April 1864 ) saying that her parents
were John Innes and Isabella McBain. Actually her age at the time of death
is marked as 94 giving her approximate date of birth as 1770.

I can confirm to you that Penuel married William Innes on the 15 Jan.1807 in
Inveravon. They subsequently had 4 children. John b: about 1807, William
b:1808, Alexander b:1809 and Isobel b:1812.

William Innes spouse of Penuel was actually the son Alexander Innes Itn
Minister in Glenlivet b:1788.

Question: Do you know where Penuel and William are buried?

Just two days ago I also got the DE for Alexander Innes ( 23 Feb.1876 )son
of William and Penuel I thought. Their eldest daughter was the Informant. In
this case Alexander's parents are shown to be Alexander Innes and Penuel
Flemming There is some confusion here. Your message of this am appears to
clear up some facts eg: Isabella (sister to Penuel ) and her subsequent
marriage to a James Flemming.

Alexander b:16 Nov.1809 married 1st Margaret Taylor and then Grace Keil
where he and Grace moved to Mortlach and had at least 8 children. Would you
like this tree?

Question: Do you have any additional information on the family of John Innes
and Isabella McBain. Any other siblings besides Penuel and Isabella. By some
chance is there a William in there?

There were a few births in Inveravon, between 1760 and at least 1785, where
the father is shown as John Innes but no mother. if I sent you a copy of the
births would you perhaps have additional info on them?

William
