I'm new to this list,and I'm trying to find a connection to the IRBY and
LEE family,that left North Carolina, for the state of MISSISSIPPI in
November 1858. My My G grandmother Tennessee Virginia IRBY was born on this
date,on a wagon trip to Mississippi. She was born near the Tennessee
Virginia border. Her parents first names we're not forsure,but maybe Amanda
LEE,and father John IRBY. We know the Surname LEE and IRBY are correct. The
LEE is suppose to be a granddaughter of General Robert E. LEE? This
LEE/IRBY family came to Mississippi ,and settled in Lafayette County,Ms.
near Panola County,Ms. I haven't found a connection to the Panola County,Ms
IRBY's yet, but I feel there's a good chance they are connected..I was
thinking maybe someone would have information on LEE's and IRBY's of N.C.
that I could make a connection with.
