Hi,

Can anyone steer me in the direction of new resources for our Goldston
ancestors?

I have contacted Willis Goldston (who was kind enough to share his family
tree with me), know about the city of Goldston, have three wills of the
Goldstons, and know there are a lot of Goldstons in Ramseur.

Our Goldstons are African-American. I haven't been able to find marriage or
death certificates in NC, or the cemeteries where they are buried. I have not
been able to tie them to a particular county, other than to find one birth
record in Winston-Salem in 1890. I haven't been able to locate them on the
1870 or 1880 censuses, and know the surviving members of the family were in TN
by 1900.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,
