Hi,

I am new to this list. I am tracing my families -

Thomas & Ruth McMURDY - b. ca 1760 - Greenan
co. Armagh -
children - John, Joseph & others
John married Sarah KINKAID circa 1825. Their
children William & Sarah Jane & others born LeGrange
(Is it LeGrange or The Grange ???)

Joseph married either Elizabeth or Mary. He was a
carpenter at Levalleglish, parish Loughgall, Armagh.
Two of his sons were William b. ca 1833 & John
b. ca 1838.

William married Mary Ann Saunderson (Sanderson)
at Annacramp, LeGrange in 1856; John came to
Australia, where he married Mary Acheson.

Mary was the daughter of William Acheson & Ann
Annett, from Mullabrack.....before that Bessbrook,
Tandragee. William Acheson (Atcheson) was from
Lurgaboy parish of Loughgall.

If anybody has any info on these people or their
descendants, or any info on the history & geography
of those areas in co. Armagh, I would love to hear
from them.
