Does anyone know the family of my great-grandmother, Martha BROWN?
It would be wonderful to know more about her, her Irish background, and of
the BROWN and COLLINS families.

Martha BROWN was born 18 March 1845 in Drumcree, Portadown, Co. Armagh,
Ireland.
She was the daughter of John BROWN Martha COLLINS.

Martha BROWN emigrated to North Queensland Australia where she married, on
13 Jun 1868, John LAMBERT formerly of Islington, Middlesex England.

Martha [BROWN] LAMBERT died 9 April 1922 in aged 77 years; She is buried in
the Townsville West End Cemetery Plot 1/ D/ 319.

They had the following children:

i.John Alfred Lambert
ii.Frederick Arthur Lambert
iii.James Brown Lambert; He married Elizabeth Joynt.
iv.Herbert Nathienal Lambert; Died 1946 in Townsville General
Hospital.
v.Henry Lambert
vi.Sarah Lambert
