I don't know if any of my WOODS ancestors stayed in Ireland. My
gggrandfather John WOODS b. ca. 1790 in N. Ireland, married Mary CUNNINGHAM
b. N. Ireland and had red hair.

2nd wife m. Nellie HANNAH
Patrick WOODS m. Margaret Ann DUNFIELD
Thomas WOODS m. Ann ?
Robert WOODS m. Matilda SEELEY
Mary WOODS m. Matthew HUDSON
Jane WOODS m. ?
John WOODS m. died young
James WOODS m. Jane WALLACE
(my ggf.) Samuel WOODS m. Mary MONTGOMERY
(1819-1898) (1826-1908)
William WOODS m. Jane BOLTON
My ggf Samuel WOODS worked in the lumber industry in Canada and the USA
and moved with the work from Renfrew area to Kingston, Kirchner and into the
USA eventually winding up Homesteading in North Dakota in the late 1880's
with several of his brothers.
