Many thanks to Mary for that McCann information I am sure it will come
in very handy in the future.
While I am on if I can just list my McCann name in the hope someone has
him spare in their family:

James McCann b. circa 1835 probably from Armagh marr. Helen McNeil in
Eastwood Renfrewshire,Scotland in 1857,
children are as follows:

James b. 1858 Pollokshaws, Renfrewshire

Alexander b.1862 " "
Joseph b. 1864 Glasgow
Helen b. 1866 "
Bernard b. 1868 "
Michael b. 1870 "
Michael b. 1872 "

James who was born 1858 married in Glasgow 1886 Mary Aitcheson b.1860
Tandragee,Armagh to Thomas Aitcheson and Elizabeth O'Hanlon.
