I am interested in this posting because of the mention of the name
Alexander which seems to have been handed down in my STEVENSON family. I am
searching for the birthplace somewhere in Ireland of Alexander STEVENSON, my
great-great-grandfather. He married Jane Gorman and in 1870 they were living
in Rutherglen, Scotland where their son Clark STEVENSON married Jane CARDOO,
also born in Ireland. I should love to hear from anyone who has links to
this family.
Best wishes,
Janet, in New Zealand
