I am seeking information about John LAFORGE. A land record of 1807 places
him in Hunterdon County. Without proof, I think John moved to Illinois
after 1812 where he, his wife, Mary Smith and son William, lived on land he
received from the Gov. for service in the War of 1812. If anyone has more
information about him it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
