Hello all

I am looking for information on a John DAY who was born around 1732
and who served with the New Jersey Volunteers. He was with the 6th
batallion, which later merged with the 3rd batallion, and later
renamed 2nd batallion. He is believed to have married a Catey
(Catherine?) Stillwell around 1772. There may also be a connection
to Bergen County, New Jersey.

John served under Caption Joseph Lee in several campaigns.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

As a resident of Nova Scotia, I have no access to American records,
so any information glady accepted.
