Greetings,

Abraham Shurts (bc1722 Hackensack, Bergen Co., NJ-d 1810 Lebanon Township,
Hunterdon Co., NJ) was married to Aultyea Van Buskirk c1748 in Hunterdon Co.
Abraham was the son of Michael Schertz (b1691 in Germany) and Maria Elizabetha
Stier (b c1687 Germany). Aultyea was the daughter of Pieter Van Buskirk (b
c1702 Hackensack, d 1778 Hunterdon Co) and Marietje Van Horn who married
Pieter on Oct 10, 1727 in Hackensack.

I suspect that Abraham and Aultyea had a son named Peter Shurts (b c1750 in
Hunterdon Co) who married Margeret Schamp/Schomp (b c 1758) in c1780. I am
looking for proof of this link as well as any information on the ancestors of
Abraham and Aultyea. Thanks for the help.
