I am looking for any infomation on the individuals mention in the document
below. The oldest record we have of the Nichols Family is an Indenture
dated 1835. The document states that William has died and his widow
Elizabeth and their son Garrit reside in Nockamixon Twp., Pa. Garrit is
being indentured to a man from Hunterdon NJ. The Indenture shows variations
in the spelling of names, NICKLES, NICKELS and GARRT, GARRIT. My father
Arthur Nichols has the original copy of the indenture.
Thanks
