Subject: Coans in New Jersey?

I'm trying to find any information I can on my grandparents and I'm hitting
a brick wall. They are Frederick August Schmidt who married Gertrude
Rhodes-Coans. I can't seem to find anything on either of them. My
grandmother died soon after giving birth in 1917 but I have no clue as to
where she was buried. My grandfather had a small farm at Sunnyside. I heard
he was buried in Clinton but I have no idea just where. Surely there is
something I am missing here. Any info on how to get passed this brick wall
would be greatly appreciated.
